FUJABA

I use this open source *free* tool "FUJABA - From UML to Java And Back Again" for a couple of years now. I found it really useful exporting java source directory and get a good class diagram. You can even export the class diagram into a jpeg file to include in your technical documentation or developer docs.I haven’t really explored all the options available with this tool, as the tool is improving every month. Looks like this product also offers a neat reverse engineering tool. Check it out...

Cannot wait for "Age of Empiers III"

This is what the creator of age of empiers III say about the upcoming release. I cannot resist..................

"Age of Empires III will offer gamers the next level of realism, with advanced battle physics and unparalleled visual detail. The new game picks up where Age of Empires II: Age of Kings left off, placing gamers in the position of a European power determined to explore, colonize and conquer the New World. This time period features stunning scenes, from towering European cathedrals to courageous tribes of Native Americans, and spectacular combat with Industrial Age units like rifled infantry, cavalry and tall ships bristling with cannons.

Age of Empires III will once again demonstrate Ensemble Studios' reputation for excellence and innovation in the real-time strategy (RTS) genre. The game will set a new standard for visual quality and amaze players with detail never before seen in an RTS. Age of Empires III will excite strategy gamers with new game-play elements, including the concept of a “Home City,“ new civilizations, units, technologies and an immersive new single-player campaign that will span three generations."

CNET.com rates Dell XPS

alright folks, couple of weeks back cnet.com rated Dell XPS as one of the best gaming laptop available todate. You know what I feel itch in my hand ;)

Long awaited DELL XPS 2

Finally, last week dell announced long awaited XPS Gen 2, gaming system. If I have money I will buy XPS for the following reason:

- 17" UltraSharpTM WUXGA Wide Aspect (sexy!!)
- Light weight, I think this is one of the lightest gaming laptop ever.
- Dell lid up the whole laptop. Lights look pretty cool! Very attractive!!
- Black and magnesium alloy combination
- 256MB NVIDIA® GeForceTM Go 6800 **Ultra** PCI Express
- 2 Heat pipes to reduce excessive heat (good for playing long hours)

This will be optimal configuration:

  • Intel® Pentium® M 760 Processor (2GHz/533MHz FSB)
  • Microsoft® Windows® XP Media Center Edition 2005 [add $35 or $1/month3]
+35$ option, I used XPMC in my friends laptop, not bad! for organizing mp3, and got better support for camera etc.
  • 3Yr Ltd Warr,At-Home Service, and Tech Support plus Nights and Weekends [add $251 or $7/month3]
+251$ option. What the hell, if you willing to spare 3000, why not a good warranty.
  • 1GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz 2 Dimm [add $180 or $5/month3]
+180$ option. No excuse for more RAM
  • 80GB Hard Drive [add $44 or $1/month3]
+44$ I need more storage. Never hurts. I prefer this over 7200rpm drive!
  • 8x CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW) with double-layer write capability [add $89 or $2/month3]
+89$ DVD burner is not a vital option, I got desktop for this. Yet! adding this for fun.
  • Dell® Wireless 1350 Internal Wireless (802.11b/g, 54Mbps) [add $14]
+14$ Cant live without the freedom of wireless
  • Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth Internal(2.0 + Enhanced Data Rate) [add $44 or $1/month3]
    +44$ I Love Bluetooth!

TOTAL DAMAGE: $3,166

You know what, if you can afford this price tag. GO FOR IT!! :) This is the best **GAMING LAPTOP** you can find this season.
